Nope it’s not yet the warm cuddly feeling of a chestnut roasting in an open fire holiday cheers. It’s THAT time when the scarier, more grotesque you look, the way better! In fact, looking ghostly and bloody can even win you a prize!

A Halloween event that never fails to sell like pancakes every year? Must have something really grand rolled up in its sleeve. For one, it has a $2,000 costume contest. Second, designer Kevin Larson creates a never-to-miss-while-you-re-still-alive production every year. And third, this party is all for a good cause to benefit the Women’s Global Empowerment Fund, a non-profit working to help women recover from violence and poverty in post-conflict regions. Now, who doesn’t want to party hard for that?
