Halloween Happenings in Denver 2013

October 29, 2013  |  What to Do

Oh yes it’ s that spooky time of the year when everybody gets to dress up, have fun, and get wacky with friends!

Nope it’s not yet the warm cuddly feeling of a chestnut roasting in an open fire holiday cheers. It’s THAT time when the scarier, more grotesque you look, the way better! In fact, looking ghostly and bloody can even win you a prize!

It’s Trick or Treat, you guys! It’s Happy Halloween!

And since this is one of most anticipated events of the year, make a grand entrance, won’t you? Dress to the nines in the most creative way and crash into one of these Halloween events thrown all over Denver.

1. Fifth Annual Paranormal Palace Oct. 26, 2013
Hyatt Regency DTC
7800 E.Tufts Ave.
Denver, CO 80237

A Halloween event that never fails to sell like pancakes every year? Must have something really grand rolled up in its sleeve. For one, it has a $2,000 costume contest. Second, designer Kevin Larson creates a never-to-miss-while-you-re-still-alive production every year. And third, this party is all for a good cause to benefit the Women’s Global Empowerment Fund, a non-profit working to help women recover from violence and poverty in post-conflict regions. Now, who doesn’t want to party hard for that?

2. Halloween Boo-lesque Show Oct. 25, 26 and 31, 2013
Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret
1601 Arapahoe St.
Denver, CO 80202
(303) 293-0075

Enjoy the night with all the traditional fun of a zombie filled event, joined in by vampires and witches…in their skimpiest burlesque outfits! Jugglers and magicians also abound with lots of prizes and games in store, making this one of the best way to enjoy Halloween night.
